Summer or winter, the mountains of the world are my home. As your mountain guide in the Gastein Valley, I will explore the local mountain ranges with you, offering a range of exciting outdoor activities at any time of year. With over 20 years of experience as a ski instructor and mountain guide in the Gastein Valley, I will accompany you to the highest peaks in Europe and support you in all technical and safety matters. I am already looking forward to exploring the diverse nature and magnificent mountain ranges with you!

The Gasteinertal

The Gasteinertal is located in the middle of the Hohe Tauern in the Goldberggruppe, surrounded by some well-known 3000m peaks, such as the Ankogel, Schareck and Tischlerkar. Bad Gastein is located directly on the main Alpine ridge at an altitude of 1,100 m. In early December there is usually a sufficiently thick blanket of snow to strap on your skis and go up into the snow-covered mountains with the boards that mean the world. Ascents and descents of several 1,000 meters altitude make the valley a Mecca for ski tourers, freeriders and ice climbers. And don’t forget: summer with wonderful hiking trails high above the valley. There are also spectacular climbing tours and via ferratas for young and old in the Gastein mountains.
